"To me, life without veal stock, pork fat, sausage, organ meat, demi-glace, or even stinky cheese is a life not worth living.” – Anthony Bourdain
Let me introduce you to my bbq pork loin with chilli, garlic honey sauce.....This is one of the best pork dinners I've cooked, the flavour was just incredible 😋
This is how I cooked this beauty
750g pork loin
3 tablespoons Pixie Dust rub
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/3 cup honey
2-3 teaspoons chilli garlic sauce ( Lee Kum Kee brand)
1 tablespoon butter
2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar
Mix dry rub with olive oil to create a wet rub. Coat trimmed pork well and refrigerate for 2 hours minimum.
In a small saucepan add the honey, butter, apple cider vinegar and chilli garlic sauce. Simmer for 3-4 minutes over low heat. Remove from heat.
Cook indirect heat on your bbq. I cooked at 335F. After approximately 20 minutes baste 1/2 the sauce onto the pork. Cook pork until internal temp reaches 145F/63°C. Allow pork to rest, slice and drizzle the remaining sauce over those pork slices and enjoy.
Don't have a bbq.....don't stress as this pork can easily be cooked in the oven at 170°C
Sometimes less ingredients can create the best results 👌🏼
Now, what would you eat this pork with?
